Practicums are a vital part of understanding and learning about User Experience or Assessment concepts. They give the students hands-on experience by giving them a chance to

  • Use technology
  • Interact with peers
  • Work on a focused project
  • Gain mentorship and guidance
  • Gain connections
  • Use the concepts learned in classes in an actual setting

The UX-A program has specific mentors for the practicum that focus in the User experience or Assessment field. The mentors can be found in the Program Mentors section. To get in contact or receive more information about a mentor, use the Contact form in the Contact us tab.

There is more information about practicums, procedures, and forms on the School of Information Sciences practicum webpage.
